Many people don't realize just how many different things you can do on a bike, and how many different styles of classes there are! Here's a quick rundown of the different types of classes we offer at CycleEssence. You'll notice that when you mouse-over one of the classes in our interactive schedule, the pop-up box will list the type of class that is scheduled for that time slot, along with a little background information on the specific instructor scheduled to teach it.
GENERAL CLASS
As the name implies, this is our standard class. It is led by an instructor and accompanied by music and visualizations.
PUSH, PULL, PEDAL
This is a new class designed to combine a standard cycling ride with a resistance workout with resistance bands to build muscle strength.
CYCLE AND CORE
This is a new class designed to combine a standard cycling ride with an abdominal workout to build core strength.
CINEMA CYCLING
A Sunday afternoon favorite! We pop in a cool movie to watch while we ride! Our Studios have a full-wall projection system, so it's like watching on the big screen!
SOLO CYCLING
Most classes are schedule early in morning before the start of a typical work day, or in the evening after work. During the bulk of the middle of the day, weekdays, we offer Solo Cycling as unstructured time for you to come in an work at your own pace. Just like with regular classes, please sign up in advance so that we know to expect you.
